Bayzat

Can the leading GCC HR/payroll platform become the operating system for all company payments — cards, AP, cross-border — by leveraging its payroll wedge?

The story

Bayzat started in 2012 as an insurance comparison marketplace in the UAE, then pivoted into an all-in-one HR/payroll/benefits SaaS for the GCC. Post Series C (2022), it has moved decisively into embedded finance — launching Bayzat Finance with corporate cards (Mastercard), accounts payable, and cross-border payments backed by a JP Morgan global AED account. The strategic question is whether an HR platform can own the entire company money-movement flow (payroll + AP + cards + FX) in a region where WPS/GOSI compliance is the moat.
