The story

Ardex Technology has been building software for the horse racing and breeding industry since 1998, focused on horse, owner and financial management for trainers, breeders, agistment farms and veterinarians. Acquired by auction house William Inglis & Son (2014 stake, 2018 full ownership), Ardex now operates independently from Sydney serving customers across Australia, NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Qatar, South Africa and Singapore. Its current product EPONA embeds invoicing, split-billing across horse owners, and Xero accounting integration into a vertical workflow tool — a classic vertical SaaS 'workflow + light embedded finance (invoicing)' motion rather than a payments or banking product.
