Accelerex began as a Central Bank of Nigeria-licensed Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP) deploying POS terminals for merchant-acquiring banks. It has expanded from hardware deployment into a full payments stack — building the RexPay online payment gateway and payment-aggregator services — positioning itself as an infrastructure layer between Nigerian banks and merchants, and expanding into other sub-Saharan African markets.
