The story
Aareon has been the dominant European vertical SaaS provider for property management for decades, originally the software arm of Aareal Bank. In 2024, Aareal Bank and Advent sold Aareon to TPG and CDPQ at a €3.9B enterprise value, freeing the company from its bank parent and enabling more aggressive product expansion. The company is now doubling down on embedded finance (Aareon Pay, virtual IBANs, BK01 Flex PAY) and AI (Aareon.ai, RIVAA assistant, MCP access) as the two strategic vectors on top of its ERP core.
