“Can a vertically integrated Brazilian agro company become the financial operating system for the rural producer, using seasonal soy-harvest cash flows as its native credit collateral?”
3tentos began in 1995 as a regional agricultural inputs distributor in Rio Grande do Sul and evolved into a vertically integrated agribusiness across three pillars: inputs retail (seeds, fertilizers, crop protection), grain origination and trading, and industrialization (soy meal, oil, biodiesel). After its 2021 B3 IPO, the company began layering embedded financial services onto its farmer relationships — most notably via TentosCap, its financial arm, which launched a Visa credit card in 2023 targeted at rural producers where credit is repayable at soy harvest (May 31). The App 3tentos and Terra3 platform anchor a digital layer that includes farmer 'grain current accounts', in-app invoice (NF-e) issuance, and a marketplace for inputs.
