Founded in 2011 out of Coimbra as a real-time machine-learning platform for fraud detection, Feedzai grew into a global RiskOps vendor selling fraud, AML and identity solutions to tier-1 banks, PSPs and acquirers. The 2021 KKR-led Series D reset it as a scaled category leader; more recently it has extended the platform with orchestration (account opening) and Feedzai IQ (network intelligence), positioning itself as an AI-native financial-crime platform rather than a point fraud tool.
