The story

Founded 2016 and launched in 2018 as a consumer multi-currency travel wallet in Singapore, partnering with EZ-Link and Mastercard. In 2019, it obtained its own Mastercard Principal License and became a direct card issuer / stored value facility holder — a critical infrastructure move that let it own more of the FX and card economics. Post-Series A (2021), it added a B2B corporate card and multi-currency business account (YouBiz), pivoting from pure consumer travel wallet to a broader Asia-Pacific cross-border payments platform for both consumers and SMEs. Now processes >$15B annually with expansion across Southeast Asia and Australia.
