The story

Founded in 2019, Yimba started as a multimedia and marketing platform for banks to personalise their mobile wallet offerings. It pivoted to become a digital wallet technology provider, offering banks a simple software integration (described as 'three lines of code') to deliver personalised banking and payment experiences via Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay. By 2021, Yimba had formalised partnerships with Mastercard, Meawallet, and Railsbank to underpin its BaaS-enabled digital wallet infrastructure, targeting both Tier 1 and challenger banks.
