The story

Founded in 2017, Valu started as Egypt's first BNPL platform targeting consumer installment financing at physical and online points of sale. Over time it expanded into a broader 'financial technology powerhouse', adding savings, investment, and wealth management products alongside its core BNPL. In 2025-2026, Valu pivoted toward B2B with Valu Business and FRA-approved SME financing, and began geographic expansion into Jordan, transforming from a consumer BNPL app into a multi-product embedded finance platform serving individuals and businesses across the MENA region.
