The story
Vale Presente launched in 2011 as Brazil's first fintech, pioneering the issuance of Mastercard-branded prepaid gift cards by a non-financial institution. In 2015 it obtained a Payment Institution license from the Brazilian Central Bank. Acquired by Social Bank in 2019, it has since evolved from a pure gift-card issuer into a broader prepaid-card and corporate incentives platform, distributing over R$500M through 2M+ cards issued to 5,000+ enterprise clients for HR, loyalty and reward campaigns.
