The story

Twig launched in the UK in 2021 as a Gen Z-focused e-money account that lets users instantly cash out physical items (clothes, electronics, luxury goods) they resell to Twig, blending a neobank with a resale/circular-economy engine. The Series A in early 2022 was pegged to US and EU expansion. Public footprint since then has been thin — evidence available in this pass does not confirm continued operation of the consumer app at scale, and there is a separate MENA-focused 'TWIG Finance' entity (Dubai, DFSA-regulated) offering savings-goal / Save-Now-Buy-Later infrastructure that may or may not be the same brand.
