The story

Founded in 2013 in Guatemala as Red Chapina, a grassroots remittance payout network connecting credit unions and small retailers to overseas money transfer operators. The business evolved into VTP (Value Transfer & Payments) in 2016, broadening its payout network across Central America and Mexico and forging partnerships with 25+ international MTOs. As the company matured into a B2B fintech enabler, the Tranzmit brand was created to package its capabilities — cross-border payments hub (Tranzact), proprietary remittance processing engine (Gateway), retail agent POS (Portal), white-label mobile app (TranzAPP), and technology integration services — as a platform offering for banks, credit unions, and money transfer operators globally.
