The story

Tatra banka is a Bratislava-headquartered retail and business bank, part of Raiffeisen Bank International Group, and consistently ranked among the top three banks in Slovakia. The bank has pursued a digital-first strategy evidenced by early adoption of remote biometric onboarding (2018) and a developer portal with PSD2 Open Banking APIs. In recent years it has pivoted toward embedded lending partnerships — notably piloting invoice financing via Malcom Finance and e-commerce financing via Lemonero — embedding fintech-sourced products within its own mobile and internet banking channels rather than building all credit products in-house.
