The story

Founded in 2021 by the Strider co-founders (sold to Syngenta in 2018) as an online grain-trading marketplace connecting farmers and buyers with AI-driven commodity pricing. Has since pivoted decisively into vertical SaaS for agribusiness credit — positioning as the 'AI-native' operating system for credit origination, ESG/environmental compliance checks, formalization, monitoring and collection at Brazilian ag distributors and financiers. The 'off-balance' product embeds third-party financing (funds, banks) directly into the distributor's credit rail, making Tarken an embedded-finance orchestration layer rather than a lender itself.
