The story
Appraisd was founded in 2012 by Roly Walter as a standalone performance management SaaS for organisations of 50–5,000+ employees. In April 2025 it was acquired by LDC-backed Talos360, a UK applicant tracking system vendor, as part of a buy/build/integrate strategy to build a full hire-to-retire talent operating system. In early 2026 the product was rebranded to Talos Perform. This is a pure HR SaaS company — there is no embedded finance layer in the product.
