“Can Hungary's dominant invoicing platform become the full financial operating system for Central European SMBs — from invoicing to banking, payments, and factoring?”
Founded in 2005 as Hungary's first online invoicing software, Számlázz.hu evolved from a pure billing tool into a broad SMB finance ecosystem. From 2021 onward it added digital factoring (invoice financing), online payments, bank-account data links (Autokassza), the BinX business bank account, and e-receipt / e-cash register solutions, becoming a payments/finance platform rather than just an invoicing tool. The company is a licensed MNB payment institution and account information service provider (AISP) — rare for a SaaS invoicing vendor.
Számlázz.hu processes payments through Stripe and SimplePay.
Számlázz.hu's lending and capital products are provided by Számlázz.hu (in-house).
Számlázz.hu connects to bank accounts through KBOSS.hu Kft. (self-operated AISP).
The Embedded Finance Index 2026 maps 3 layers in Számlázz.hu's stack: Payments / PSP (Stripe and SimplePay); Lending (Számlázz.hu (in-house), Számlafinanszírozás – faktoring (digital invoice factoring) and B2B BNPL (blog-discussed)); Open banking (KBOSS.hu Kft. (self-operated AISP)).
Számlázz.hu was founded by Jani, Laci and Imi and is founded in 2005, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.
