The story

Technology Credit Union (Tech CU) is a Silicon Valley-based credit union with a 63-year history, primarily serving technology sector employees and their families. Its most notable embedded-finance pivot has been into green/solar lending: since 2015, it has been the primary capital provider behind Sunlight Financial's point-of-sale residential solar loan platform, representing one of the nation's largest and longest residential solar loan partnerships. Tech CU also operates Tech Capital LLC, a wholly-owned asset-based lending subsidiary, diversifying beyond consumer credit union products into commercial ABL.
