The story
Starlight is a bootstrapped vertical SaaS ERP built by a roll-off waste hauler for other haulers, recyclers and facility operators. Founded in 2014 in Denver, it evolved from an internal tool at 5280 Waste Solutions into a multi-line-of-business platform covering roll-off, commercial, residential, portable toilet, facility management and municipal reporting. Embedded finance is limited to accepting card payments through the Contractor App and SalesPoint web ordering — Starlight itself is not a fintech platform.
