The story

Stackline began in 2014 as an Amazon-focused ecommerce competitive intelligence tool for consumer brands. It broadened to a multi-retailer analytics + retail media platform (Atlas, Beacon, Ad Manager) after Goldman/TA growth capital, then in 2024-2026 pivoted toward an AI-native 'retail growth platform' spanning shopper analytics, AI Visibility (ChatGPT/Rufus/Gemini discovery), and now Shopper OS — a Checkout + branded storefront + app layer that puts Stackline into embedded commerce infrastructure for the first time. It is a SaaS/analytics business with a nascent embedded-commerce (not embedded-finance) angle.
