The story

Founded 2018 as Brazil's first solar-focused fintech, Solfácil built a lending platform for residential PV financing distributed via a network of solar integrators. It has since evolved into a full 'solar ecosystem' bundling equipment distribution (Solfácil Distribuidora), insurance, IoT monitoring hardware (Solfácil Smart), and financing — becoming a vertically integrated platform for integrators. Regulatory-wise, it obtained its own SCFI license (Solfácil SCD S.A.) to originate loans directly, while continuing to distribute credit as a banking correspondent for partner banks (Socinal, BMP, QI, Aymoré/Santander, Descarbonize). Recent product expansion into BESS financing and AI-driven monitoring signals a move upmarket into C&I and agribusiness.
