The story

Sicoob Credicitrus is a 40+ year old Brazilian credit cooperative (cooperativa de crédito de livre admissão) and a singular of the Sicoob system — Brazil's largest cooperative banking network. It serves 160,000+ members across São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso do Sul with a full-service retail and agricultural banking portfolio (checking, savings, credit, insurance, investments, PIX, cards, consórcios) delivered through the shared Sicoob technology stack, including the Sipag acquiring brand and the Sicoob mobile app. It is not a fintech pivoting into embedded finance — it is a regulated financial institution using the Sicoob central cooperative's infrastructure.
