The story

Founded in 2010 in Norway, Settle Group built a pan-EU payments infrastructure enabling instant money transfers for consumers and businesses, obtaining a European EMI license. The company expanded its cross-border capabilities via a partnership with Currencycloud and offered Banking-as-a-Service products to FinTechs. In 2024, Settle Group was acquired by UK-based Sokin, which used the acquisition to gain an EU EMI footprint and integrate Settle's payment rails into Sokin Pay.
