The story

SentiLink was launched in 2017 by two early Affirm employees (Naftali Harris and Max Blumenfeld) after they encountered synthetic identity fraud at scale in Affirm's lending flow. The company built the first commercial synthetic-fraud score and became the first organization to use the Social Security Administration's eCBSV service. It has since expanded from a single synthetic-fraud score into a broader identity/fraud suite (ID Theft Score, First-Party Fraud, PII Risk Scores, Facets, Intercept, ID Complete, Treasury Check Verification) serving 300+ US financial institutions.
