The story

Founded 2015 as SendAJob by locksmiths who wanted to digitize the pen-and-paper reality of field service work. Rebranded to Workiz around 2018 and expanded from locksmithing into broader trades — HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electricians, garage door — as a vertical SaaS with scheduling, invoicing, and CRM. The sendajob.com domain now serves as the customer-facing service-request booking subdomain (st.sendajob.com) for Workiz merchants, powered by Workiz form technology. No independent embedded finance stack — this is a vertical SaaS motion, not an embedded finance play (as of the evidence collected).
