The story

Renda started in 2021 as an end-to-end order fulfillment and last-mile logistics platform (Renda 360) for FMCG, agritech and e-commerce businesses in Nigeria and Kenya. In 2024 it raised a $1.9M pre-seed to expand geographically. Its embedded-finance angle emerged with SCALE by Renda — a digital platform offering embedded credit, voucher/wallet systems, and asset financing to fleet owners and logistics SMEs — positioning Renda as both a logistics operator and a financier for the operators inside its own network. The company also markets a 'cash collections & reconciliation' service to merchants, an operational payments (COD) capability.
