Qwiklabs launched in 2012 as an AWS-focused hands-on cloud learning platform and became Amazon's default self-paced lab provider. Google acquired the company in November 2016 to build out its own cloud training stack, and Qwiklabs was subsequently absorbed into Google Cloud Skills Boost.
