“Can a Peruvian fintech become the dominant SME financial OS by combining invoice factoring, mortgage-backed lending, and free SaaS tools to own the credit lifecycle of micro and small enterprises?”
Founded in 2017 as a mortgage-backed P2P lending platform in Peru, Prestamype has progressively broadened into a multi-product SME financial services marketplace. It added invoice factoring and confirming to diversify beyond real-estate-collateralized loans, then launched a free SaaS invoice-management tool (Ariana/Tandia) to deepen SME relationships and create a funnel for financing. The platform also introduced a private fund manager (Gestora de Fondos Privados) and currency exchange (Cambio Seguro) to capture more of investors' and borrowers' financial activity.
