The story

Founded in 1919 as a traditional printing and forms company, Strålfors evolved into a digital customer communication management (CCM) platform, becoming the largest distributor of invoices in the Nordic region. Acquired by PostNord Group around 2015, the company rebranded as PostNord Strålfors and expanded its omnichannel capabilities to handle over 1 billion transactions annually across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Poland. The embedded finance angle emerged in 2022 when the company partnered with Tink to embed open banking payment initiation directly into its invoice delivery flow, positioning itself as an end-to-end invoicing-and-payment infrastructure for Nordic enterprises.
