The story

Penta launched as a German SMB neobank challenger and was acquired by Qonto in 2022. Following integration, Penta customers now operate under Qonto SA's French ACPR payment institution license via the OLINDA German branch, with funds safeguarded at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Société Générale, Natixis or Rothschild Martin Maurel. The brand has effectively been absorbed into Qonto's pan-European SMB banking platform.
