The story

Payrix started as an embedded payments infrastructure company on a mission to be the global leader in embedded payments for vertical software businesses. After acquisition by FIS, it was rebranded and integrated as 'Worldpay for Platforms,' extending beyond pure payment processing to a broader embedded finance stack. The addition of the Embedded Finance Engine (EFE) in 2025, powered by Parafin, marked Payrix's expansion from payments-only to working capital lending for its SaaS platform merchants.
