The story

Passport began in 2010 as a mobile parking payment app and has steadily expanded into a vertical SaaS platform for cities and parking operators covering compliance, enforcement, permits, citations and curb management. In November 2025 the company launched Passport Payments — its own embedded, PCI-certified, PayFac-registered payment platform — moving up the stack from app-only payments to becoming the GovTech payments rail for municipalities. The strategic shift is from parking-app-with-payments to financial-infrastructure-for-the-curb.
