The story

Passare was founded in 2012 as case management software for funeral homes and has grown into an all-in-one operating platform (case management, decedent tracking, financials, family-facing Planning Center). It is majority-owned by Directors Investment Group (DIG), which also owns Funeral Directors Life — creating a native preneed insurance channel inside Passare. Embedded finance is limited to a single integrated card/ACH processor (Deluxe) plus insurance-assignment financing via Claimcheck; the company has not moved into BaaS, issuing, or lending.
