The story

Founded 2017 as a digital bahi khata (ledger) app to digitize informal credit-tracking for India's neighborhood shopkeepers. After capturing millions of merchants and ~$50B of annual recorded informal-BNPL transactions, the company moved up the stack into embedded finance — facilitating UPI payments through Razorpay/Cashfree and originating digital loans through NBFC partners under RBI's digital lending guidelines. The thesis is to convert ledger data into the credit-underwriting fabric for India's unorganized retail.
