The story
Founded in 2019 by three Palantir alumni who met while building Palantir's internal finance function, Mosaic set out to replace spreadsheet-heavy FP&A workflows with a centralized, data-driven strategic finance platform. The product aggregates operational and financial data across an organization, offering real-time analytics, predictive reporting, and cash-burn visibility. With the Series C in 2023, Mosaic made an explicit pivot toward AI-led features, positioning itself as an AI-powered financial decision-making layer on top of existing ERP and data sources rather than a traditional FP&A tool.
