The story

MODIFI was founded as a digital cross-border trade finance platform offering invoice factoring and B2B BNPL to SME exporters and importers globally. The company has progressively expanded from pure trade finance into broader cross-border payments infrastructure, partnering with Airwallex in 2023 to launch its Global Account Solution. It now positions itself as a 'business payments for global commerce' platform combining BNPL-style trade financing with a multi-currency payments rail. A partnership API launched to allow B2B marketplaces and logistics platforms to embed MODIFI's trade financing into their own products.
