Can a booking-and-payments platform become the full operational and financial OS for the salon and spa industry by embedding payroll, payments, and communications natively?

The story

Mangomint was built on the premise that great software should be so intuitive it effectively disappears. Starting as a booking and management platform for salons and spas, it progressively layered embedded finance on top of its core scheduling product. The company identified payroll as a cumbersome pain point for salon owners — workers in the industry have complex compensation structures (hourly vs. commission) — and partnered with Salsa to embed full-service payroll. The expansion to Canada via Salsa marked a deliberate cross-border growth move, positioning Mangomint as the all-in-one financial and operational OS for the beauty and wellness vertical.
