Mango

Can a single modular payments infrastructure layer — wallet, FX, fraud, and pay-in/out — become the default financial stack for online marketplaces and platforms globally?

The story

Mangopay was built as modular payments infrastructure specifically for online marketplaces and platforms, enabling them to embed pay-in, pay-out, wallet, and FX capabilities via API. It holds both EU/EEA (CSSF) and UK (FCA) EMI licences, allowing it to serve as the regulated layer for platforms without requiring them to obtain their own licences. Its recent expansion into FX (2023) and fraud prevention (2024) reflects a shift from pure payment-flow infrastructure toward a broader financial-operations platform for marketplaces and SaaS platforms.
