The story

Founded in 2018 by a group of high school students inspired by school canteen payment frustrations, KodyPay launched as an aggregated ordering and payments system for restaurants, cafes and takeaways. It formally partnered with Adyen in late 2022 to embed enterprise-grade financial technology — including seamless payments and frictionless finance — into its hospitality-focused platform. By 2023 the company had rebranded its positioning toward an 'AI-native Agentic Commerce Platform' targeting larger businesses with physical locations, having raised over $38M and expanding operations across 7 countries.
