“Can a government e-services and EBPP specialist turn its public-sector credibility into a scalable BPO business for Latin American banks?”
Interfile was established in 2003 as the private-sector contractor behind South Africa's SARSeFiling tax platform, and evolved into an e-government and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) provider. It has since extended into BPO services in Brazil (Interfile Serviços de BPO) serving financial-sector clients like Carrefour Financial Services, Porto Bank/Porto Seguro, Banco Safra and Banco Inter. The Brazil arm sells BPO to banks rather than embedded finance products of its own.
