Can a PCI-certified, white-label payment infrastructure company become the embedded processing backbone for community banks and vertical SaaS platforms seeking to monetize merchant acquiring without building their own stack?

The story

Originally founded in 2004 as Government Payments targeting public-sector clients, the company was acquired by US Merchant Systems in 2011 and reconstituted as Convenient Payments, LLC. Under new CEO Casey Leloux from 2015, it repositioned as IntelliPay — a broader commercial payment platform serving ISVs, SaaS developers, community banks, and multi-industry merchants. The embedded finance angle centers on white-labeling its PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure to financial institutions and ISVs so they can resell merchant processing under their own brand.
