The story

Founded in 1961 as the credit union for the Inter-American Development Bank community, IDB Global FCU has always served a uniquely international membership spanning 75 countries. The credit union has progressively built out digital and cross-border capabilities to serve IDB staff in country offices worldwide, including adopting Convera's Global Pay Platform for international wire transfers. With ~34 employees and NCUA federal insurance, it remains a small, member-focused cooperative rather than a commercial bank.
