The story

Founded as an automaker in 1967, Hyundai Motor Group progressively built an in-house financial services stack across auto financing (Hyundai Capital), credit cards (Hyundai Card), commercial lending (Hyundai Commercial), and connected-vehicle payments (Hyundai Pay). The financial subsidiaries are now deeply integrated into the car-buying and car-owning journey, spanning consumer auto loans, supply-chain finance, cross-border remittances, and an in-vehicle digital wallet. The group's embedded finance ambition is to own the full financial relationship around vehicle ownership globally, with Hyundai Capital operating in 14 countries and Hyundai Capital India accelerating EV financing in a high-growth market.
