The story
Guide (legal entity IDK Labs, Inc.) was founded in 2021 by Troy Sultan and co-founder Austin after they sold their previous candidate sourcing company Resource to Gem. The company built a candidate experience and interview scheduling platform for enterprise talent teams, and in 2025 reimagined the product around Aria, an AI agent for recruiting coordination. Guide has no embedded finance surface area — it is pure recruiting SaaS with ATS, calendar, and communication integrations.
