The story

Granular started in 2014 as a spinoff of soil-testing company Solum, targeting professionally managed large row-crop farms with farm-ops software. After a $18.7M Series B in 2015 it was acquired by DuPont in 2017 and became the digital-ag arm of Corteva Agriscience. Today it operates as Granular Insights (agronomic analytics tied to Pioneer/Corteva sales) and Granular Link (grower connectivity), and is not an embedded-finance platform — no evidence of payments, banking, lending, insurance or payroll infrastructure in the target's own footprint.
