The story

Started in 2011 as Mexico's first crowdfunding platform, merged with Kickstarter Mexico in 2016, then pivoted in 2018 to a mobile-first challenger bank targeting Mexico's underbanked smartphone users via a SOFIPO license. Has since expanded from a consumer debit account into a tiered product line (Personal / Profesional / Empresarial) layering yield, SPEI transfers, and embedded SMB credit on top of the regulated SOFIPO entity Fondea Technologies, S.A. de C.V., S.F.P.
