The story

Founded in 2018 by two ex-Deloitte consultants who pioneered Mexico's early fintech practice, Finerio Connect started as a consumer PFM app before pivoting to a B2B open finance infrastructure play. The company repositioned as the leading Open Finance API platform for LatAm, offering bank aggregation, data categorization, and compliance/regulatory tooling to banks, neobanks, and fintechs. In 2023 it launched 'Open Finance in a Box' — a SaaS infrastructure layer for banks and regulators implementing Open Finance standards — and partnered with Ozone API and Visa to build out the regional ecosystem.
