“Can Featurespace's Adaptive Behavioral Analytics become the de facto real-time fraud detection layer embedded across global card networks and financial institutions?”
Featurespace was founded out of Cambridge University's Engineering Department to commercialize Adaptive Behavioral Analytics — a machine learning approach that profiles individual user behavior over time to detect anomalies. It built the ARIC platform targeting financial institutions and payment processors for fraud detection. A key inflection point was a 2017 strategic partnership with Worldpay, which both invested and licensed ARIC technology. More recently, becoming a Visa Solution has elevated its positioning as a global fraud infrastructure layer embedded within major card networks and financial institutions.
