The story

Evertec Brasil is the Brazilian arm of Puerto Rico-headquartered Evertec (NYSE: EVTC), built through the acquisitions of Sinqia and Dimensa. The unit brings together core banking, card issuer processing, credit/receivables management and FX platforms sold to Brazilian banks, fintechs and digital wallets. It also houses paySmart, a card processor for issuers and wallets operating via BIN sponsorship or full EMV services. The strategy is B2B/B2B2X infrastructure — Evertec Brasil sells embedded finance capabilities to financial institutions rather than operating a consumer or merchant brand.
