eDRV was founded in 2020 in Amsterdam to solve the fragmentation of the EV charging ecosystem by providing an API-first platform to normalize OCPP/OCPI communications across charger vendors. The company has since evolved from a pure connectivity/messaging layer into an AIOps platform targeting Ops, Finance, Fleet and Support leaders at Charge Point Operators — layering revenue reconciliation, SLA management, and predictive fault detection on top of its API core. Embedded payments (via Stripe) are a supporting feature — the driver wallet and pricing engine — rather than the core product.
