The story

Founded in 1995 as Edelweiss Capital Limited, a capital markets and advisory firm. Over two decades, the company evolved into a full-spectrum financial conglomerate spanning retail credit, asset management, insurance, asset reconstruction, and wealth management. Post-2020, Edelweiss pivoted its credit business to an asset-light, tech-heavy co-lending model targeting MSMEs, agri, and individuals. The group is now rationalising its structure, exiting certain wholesale credit exposures while doubling down on retail lending and insurance.
